Review: Oh the possibilities that were lost here. Except for the names of characters and similar architecture in the house is bare little resemblance to film Dark Shadows. The movie starts well and then out in strange directions so you never find what kind of film to want to be. A few scattered laughter here and there does not compensate for poorly conceived story that winds itself to the point of being boring and confusing. What can you say about a scannána only comes to life on a tight assembly of the pop songs of the 1970s? Depp does not even try to catch some of the guilt ridden angst of Barnabas Collins. Barnabas is a trick or Pirates of the Caribbean, much like a child playing dress up on Halloween with two emotions, upset and more more upset. The film has some good set pieces, but Burton gives a true Gothic feeling or the feeling of fear around. The script is nothing to throw up against the wall and see what sticks it depends. Allows application shows Burtons Address by conveyor belt you shoot a ton of interest but are striking images. Actually he's more of a visual than it is a film director. In fact, one gets the feeling that the scannána would have done if not for Johnny Depp and his love for the original series can be seen here. A pity that rely heavily on compensation to increase their performance. Helean Bonham Carter has no interest in being in the film and it shows, it does so only as a favor to her husband. Eva Green is attracting the kind of actor Tim Burton and loves to throw a movie, but she has some interesting Angeliques jealous. The round one with a clue on what the site should be played as Michelle Pfeiffer. She is the grand dame of both dark shadows to capture the gothic feel of the original story and the magnificence of nature.
