Review: After an exciting start, Paradise plunged to the depths of pure boredom and wasting time. When the main character meets Russell Brand after about 15 minutes, the film overall direction of change and has become almost unwatchable. Not that Russell Brand is a fault, the film becomes stagnant and never regained any momentum. The importance fades and the story has no sensible reason to keep watching. The film is not built very well and I was wondering why it was given the green light. The writing does not have any bite to save for the opening and it was a waste of time. It almost plays like a Lifetime movie and I avoid these films like the plague. I saw this movie on my cable provider Video On Demand, it has not been released in theaters yet. I think this was done to generate income when they have questionable titles that they feel will do well when it is released. When they do this, little is known about the film so should be used carefully. I should take my own advice!
